London Marathon 2022

I've been running for a while and have tried for ten years to get a place in the London marathon. Finally, it happened....then covid struck.....2 years later it is actually happening on Sunday!

I've had injuries and illness this year so the training has not been where I would like it to be but it isn't my first marathon and I am determined to enjoy it.

I wasn't going to get sponsored but I've mentioned I'm doing it to a few people this week and all seemed shocked I wasn't raising money so here I am.....last minute Larry!

This is a charity close to my heart having been one that has helped both our daughter Freya come to terms with her profound deafness as well as supporting us as a family. They are a wonderful but small charity and every penny counts!
