Zoey was diagnosed with osteosarcoma less than a week ago. Osteosarcoma is an aggressive, highly metastatic cancer that requires an aggressive treatment plan which starts with the removal of the affected limb. This resolves the pain in 100% of cases but does not stop the spread of cancer. She was given four months to one year if we choose to start chemotherapy. Four months to six months with just the amputation. I can not imagine my life without her and will fight beside her until the very end. The cost above was for the x-rays and surgery and worth every penny.
