AVCHS goes to Nationals!!

A group of enthusiastic Animo Venice Charter High School students are continuing their innovative machine at NATIONALS.
The 6 freshman entered in the Rube Goldberg Machine Contest where they needed to create a giant chain reaction in order to complete a simple task-erase a chalkboard. The machine is a combination of all of the STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) genres into one patience testing contraption.
The students spent every Saturday for 2 months working on the project and entered in the LA county regional competition where they won First Place and are now headed to Nationals in Wisconsin. We are looking to fundraise money to pay for transportation and hotels while on their quest to win the national competition.
