Grandmother needs help

A South Side grandma is figuring out what to do next after kids playing with fireworks burned her garage, two cars and the contents inside.

"It's not fair at all," she said. "We struggle for what we have."

I have made this page for her and her grandkids. No, I don't know her. I just felt moved to help her since I'm adopted and I'm a grandma. I'm accepting donations for Ruth and her grandchildren. You could private message me on FB Lupe Willis.

Please consider going through your and/or your kids' closet to see if you can donate any clothes in the following sizes:

Boys: 8 - 10 or 14 - 16 Husky
Girls: Med - Large shirts, 6 - 8 pants
Grandma wears 14 - 16 pants and size Large shirts.

Gift cards would be a good idea as well.

I spoke with her today and she was holding back her tears as she said that a couple people have called to say they're bringing stuff but they haven't shown up yet.
