Autumn Fest 2021

When the world was at a standstill, when toilet paper was limited and the strength of our workers was extended... What did you hope for when you wished for our last known normalcy? Maybe your dream was for dinner at Mancino’s, a night out with friends at JJ Kelley's, lunch at Lynnie Que’s overlooking the airport, Cruise Night down Ridge Road or maybe a weekend with your family at Fox Pointe for the annual Lansing Autumn Fest. Each of us had a different piece of hope for our family that we held onto by a thread.

Lansing has always been a community, not only determined population or land, but by love and unity. Countless times during this strange period of time, citizens of Lansing have come together to help one another. How many times have you seen our community rally to help a family, child, senior citizen, or friend during a hard point in their lives. Lansing has only come to be what it is today,  created by the people who reside here.

Now, it’s your chance to help the place we all have grown to love. Autumn Fest has been the home for many family activities. Children jumping in the bouncy house for hours and being dragged out by their mother sweat rolling down their face, seeing an old classmate or teacher for the first time in years, children spending their weekly allowance in one day on food and games or maybe having the joy from just being around people.  Since we don't charge admission for anyone,  we have to keep in mind, that events like these cost money. Each of us have so many memories about our welcoming town, each one special. This is your opportunity to recreate our town’s special, welcoming, joyful weekend centered around our community and families. After a year apart, separated by the windows in our homes and masks across our faces, we must all come together to rebuild our lives. Do you want to see our community smile at one another again, hug one another after months without contact, laugh as a whole and celebrate the hopeful passing of COVID-19 at this year’s Autumn Fest. Please help our community create more memories, friends and love more than ever before by donating funds to support Autumn Fest 2021. Lansing Autumn Fest needs 200 people to donate $100 each to keep the family fun rolling in, but any amount of monetary donations will be appreciated. Keep in mind, the organization creating the event, L.A.C.E., is now a 5013C, with tax deductibles and benefits! Please help your community when it needs you most!

Please also feel free to add your favorite memory of you and your family from past years in the comments below!
