Austin Family Fund Challenge
Donation protected
The Austin Family Fund was established in conjunction with the Communities Foundation of Texas. Since its establishment, over $40,000 has been donated to the fund by the company as well as employee-owners. Currently, the fund is extremely low and unable to meet the needs of any Austin employee-owner.
Through the years, the Austin Family Fund has expanded to not only assist employee-owners (in any state) during times of natural disaster, but also when facing other emergency situations.
For example, the fund helped pay medical assistance for an employee-owner whose child was diagnosed with cancer but did not have the money to pay their medical bills and mortgage payment, the fund helped pay for temporary living for employee-owners who lost their homes in fires, and the fund helped pay for employee-owners severely impacted by hurricanes.
As Austin continues to grow, more and more employee-owners turn to the fund for help. In an effort to provide continual help, we are asking you to consider making a donation to the Austin Family Fund. Although your decision to make a donation is strictly personal and optional, anything you can afford to send will be more than appreciated.
HOW TO DONATE:
You can donate at this site as one option with your credit card, cash or check.
If you are interested in getting a tax deduction, please write a check to the Austin Family Fund and ensure that Helen Miller (hmiller@austin-ind.com) at Austin Industries receives it. Alternatively, you can speak to Hope Walls (hwalls@austin-ind.com) about that as well.
If you give cash or check, please let Hope Walls and/or Andy Rittler know so we can count that towards the totals raised for the Austin Family Fund!
If you'd like, you can donate anonymously as well.
