Austin Rec'ers JV to Nationals

The Austin River City Rec’ers is a non-profit community based wheelchair adaptive sports program which serves Austin’s citizens with physical disabilities. The program provides recreational activities and social integration for program roster members and their families by support of sponsorship and donations. In addition, the Austin Rec’ers reaches out to provide community education and disability awareness.

The Austin Rec'ers JV team is a first year program. The players range in age from 12-20. The team has competed in Conference Tournaments across the region over the past few months and based on their performances received an invite to the NWBA National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky.  The funds donated to this GoFundMe will directly benefit the kids in their journey to a National Championship (something very rare as a first year program). We hope you all feel inclined to support these kids and the incredible opportunity ahead of them. 

The Austin River City Rec’ers is a non-profit (501) c (3) organization and only collects nominal membership dues on an annual basis for participation which only covers a small portion of the yearly expenses. Our organization thrives through the donations of generous donors like you. All donations are tax deductible. A W-9 or tax donation letter will be provided for donations.
