Austin Jett Herre
Donation protected
Austin is a 2.5 year old boy who just gained a baby sister that’s 7 weeks old. He LOVES snuggling her, playing with Dino’s, trains, & cars, and being with family. After a few months of ongoing sickness such as pneumonia, ear infections and colds, Austin had some blood work done that came back with red flags on his white blood cell count, suggestive of Leukemia. The test was ran because he had a fever that lasted more than a week, with no underlying cause such as a current ear infection or pneumonia.
Austin was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL on January 15,2023. He will be undergoing treatment at Scottish Rite Children’s hospital for the next 2-2.5 years to kick Leukemia’s butt.
The family is devastated of this news after he is already battling his Adrenoleukodystrophy diagnosis from his newborn screening.
Doctors are very optimistic about his treatment and prognosis, but this journey still comes with hefty medical bills and a family that just wants to do right by their son in as many ways as possible.
Anything donated will go towards medical bills, stays away from home, and ensuring Austin can enjoy life to the fullest while also living as safe as possible to avoid any infections from a compromised immune system.
If you cannot donate, we just ask that you pray his little body fights this with little to no side effects.
If you wish to send him any cards, photos, or gifts please contact his mom at [phone redacted]
