Austin helping Houston

My name is Greg Levine, and I have been a resident of Austin, TX for more than 7 years.  As you are well aware, our great neighbor Houston is dealing with severe losses right now.  Thousands of people have lost their homes, and with another expected 50 inches of rain to hit, we need to help out as much as we can.  Honestly, I wish I could  travel to Houston to help out with the day to day, but the best I can do is donate money to organizations that are helping.  I would like to set something up and divide out the contributions to 4 organizations helping Houston:
1. American Red Cross- they are providing day to day assistance in Houston as well as any life saving services. 
2. Houston Food Bank- they are providing immediate relief to the people with food and water.  
3. Save The Children Foundation- they are providing family-friendly supplies and services to Hurricane Harvey survivors.  Items like cribs and diapers are purchased by the organization. 
4. Austin Pets Alive- one of my favorite local organizations, they are providing shelter and transporting as many pets as possible to Austin.  As of Sunday, they have already transported 330 animals to their shelter and expecting 100+ more in the next 24 hours.  Donations will help them with overall care of these influx of new animals.  

Anything helps at this point- I have no idea what to expect from donation levels, but I think a goal of $10,000 is very doable at this point.  Thank you so much for those of you that donate!!
