Hi everyone, this is Sonia, Aurelio's oldest daughter.
As you know, my father passed away Sunday morning, April 19th due to a COVID-19 infection.
We don't have the words to describe what a terrible loss this is for my family and for anyone that has known my father. He was a kind and generous person who only wanted to provide the best for his children. He worked so hard nearly all his life and was able to get his three kids through college. He was looking forward to retiring soon and it breaks my heart that he won't be able to enjoy that time off. I find comfort in the fact that he was able to spend quality time with the rest of the family before he got sick.
My family appreciates all your love and support during this time. We thank you for all of your kind messages; they mean the world to us in a time when we are all so physically isolated.
We won't be able to hold a wake for him but there will be a mass online Tuesday at 7:30 pm (4/20). It will be in Spanish.
