Healing from Lyme

Donation protected
This is definitley not my style, to ask for help, but after years of treatments, travel, astronomical medical bills and doctors, Lyme disease has taken it's toll. Many people have asked me how they can help, so I am setting up this page, but please know that if you cannot financially contribute, your healing thoughts, prayers, and knowing you care means so much.

I was diagnosed with Lyme disease and it's coinfection babesia (similar to malaria) over 7 years ago after 20+ years of misdiagnosis and frustrating symptoms. If you are interested in learning more about the disease, there is a great documentary "under our skin" that explains that frustations and politics in dealing with parasitic infections.

I have have every kind of treatment over the past years from traditional to alternative, seen many doctors, traveled the country to do so, trying everything possible to heal.  There have been many months during these years that I have felt great, but unfortunately I haven't been able to fully kick this disease, as I completely intend to.

I have found a clinic in Wichita, Kansas, of all places, The Hansa center, that treats patients with Lyme disease and simialr autoimmue issues with a biological approach.  They work to build the bodies own immune system up, to eanble it to heal itself.  Their approach to healing is done through diagnositcs, homeopathic/ naturopathic and chinese herb treatments, and detoxifying of all the toxins that these parasites leave.  I found this clinic two years ago and had great success when I was a patient there before.  Unfortunately, all of the treatments that have worked for me are non-traditional, and therefore, not covered by insurance.  Each week at the clinic costs approximately $4,000, not including lodging.  Healing is expensive! I had to put a number down for a goal, but anything helps, honestly.

My sister Erin, who also has Lyme disease will be traveling with me to the Hansa Center for treatment as well.  Here's to healing together!

So, thank you if you can help, and just so you know, I make an incredible roasted chicken, chocolate cake + cookies, and I also have an amazing hook up on some athletic gear.  Know that if I cannot personally repay you with gifts, that any kindness will be fully paid forward once I can, to all of those who haven't been as fortunate as me.

Best to you all and feel free to contact me anytime
