Emergency Veterinary Bills for Jenna

Jenna is a 5Yr old AQHA mare, currently hospitalized at Cornell University. She is 2.5 months in-foal (pregnant). She was rushed there yesterday because of respiratory distress. She needed a tracheotomy to breathe as her airway was nearly 100% collapsed. At this time they do not know the exact cause of this and the infection she had in her guttural pouches (like people's sinus areas). The estimate for her care, between both veterinarians is approximately $4000. The doctors at Cornell believe her prognosis is good, and also that of her unborn foal.
  This emergency expense is a hardship. Cornell ( nor any other veterinary hospitals) does not offer ANY payment plans. In fact, they do not even allow you to write a post-dated check for your next pay-day. I dont even have much time to try to sell personal belongings to come up with the money. The only option they give you is immediate payment upon services, or no treatment. Jenna would have died if she were not admitted. Upon intial exam, the doctors said it was a miracle she even survived the 2+ Hr trailer ride to the clinic.
Truthfully, I'm embarrased to be asking for help. This is really hard for me. Friends and supporters have encouraged me to reach out. I am always willing to spend every last penny I have to get my horses the veterinary care they need.. unfortunately, because of that, I now am without anything left in my finances for this emergency. This year has already been filled with many unforseen horse medical expenses, in addition to some other personal financial hardships. I guess we all need a little help sometimes.
