Audrey's All-Stars

We are, Abel and Allyson Perez, the parents of 2 year old, Audrey. Audrey was born with a rare form of muscular dystrophy called LAMA2 or merosin-deficient. This means her body lacks the muscle protein merosin, or laminin, which aides in the building of muscle all throughout her body.

We are raising money to help with the fiancial costs of flying roundtrip, booking a hotel room and eating for a family of three in Washington, D.C. While  there, we will be attending the CureCMD Conference http://www.curecmd.org/  in July 2017 for three days. We are asking for all donations to be made by June 1, 2017.

Learning about a progressive disease that affects your child is daunting, overwhelming and heartbreaking but this July we get the amazing opportunity to meet other families from all over the world who are walking in our shoes, who know our struggles, and who celebrate our triumphs. 

If you can donate five dollars or five hundred dollars (or anywhere in between), you will give us the gift of knowing we are not alone on this journey, that we have a group of loving individuals who want to see us succeed and give the very best life to our child despite what others might see.
