What is AudacityMagazine.com?
Audacity Magazine is a lifestyle magazine for people with physical disabilities. It is run by people with physical disabilities. It's been around for 14 years! Most of those years, I've been paying for everything. But it's not enough to reach the people who need this magazine the most.
Who has AudacityMagazine.com helped?
Audacity Magazine has helped people with physical disabilities who haven't been able to gain full time, part time or part part time employment because unfortunately society isn't exactly rolling out the red carpet for us.
Many of the writers started with Audacity Magazine and went on to gain consistent employment elsewhere.
If AudacityMagazine had the funds, we would have been able to keep our writers longer, hire editors to send out information quicker, and hire social media ambassadors.
What are we going to do with the money?
1. Hire writers with physical disabilities $4000 = 100 published articles $40 per article for one year
2. Hire assistant editors with physical disabilities $5,000 = $200 per assistant editor per month = about 2 assistant editors per month for one year!
3. Revamp the website to include podcasts, videos and other technology that we don't have right now. $5,000
4. Build online courses to help people with physical disabilities improve their lifestyles by empowering them. $3,000
