Help a Young Man

Hi, my name is Lindy. I’m fundraising for a friend of our family.

I’d like to keep his identity anonymous as I don’t want anyone to bother his family but here’s the story:

This young man is 18 and has been kicked out of his house and shunned by his entire family because he chose to get the Covid vaccine. He is currently working part time and had planned to take a year off school between high school and university but now has to work to survive. He’s staying with a friends family but we all know how that can become difficult.

He got an apprenticeship and is starting in 2 weeks so he will be working full time but it will take awhile to build up enough money to get a place, furnish it and have a damage deposit.

I would love to be able to give him a bit of a head start.

This young man is a hardworking, above average student who doesn’t get into trouble. He has been an important part of our lives since he and my son were 3 years old. I’ve offered for him to live with us but we are far from his work and to be honest, we don’t have a ton of room. He’d end up in the living room or sharing a room.

He does have a place to sleep but I started this to hopefully get a couple months rent, damage deposit and maybe some second hand furniture until he’s got the money to pay on his own.

I really appreciate anything people can donate. I’ll ask him once I give it to him if it’s ok to post a video of him receiving it.
