Chloe was recently diagnosed with a rare brain disorder called "Polymicrogyria".
Most children with Polymicrogyria, but not all, have some degree of global developmental disabilities or delays, seizures, feeding difficulties, respiratory problems, motor dysfunction and mental retardation. It is difficult to make a predictable prognosis for children with the diagnosis of PMG because each child is very unique in their presentation of this disorder. So Far, Chloe has had quite severe epilepsy which means she has suffered many nocturnal "Grand Mal" seizures, she also is developmentally delayed.
The doctors have informed us that the more therapy we can do in the early years, the better Chloe's chances are at a "normal" life. Unfortunately our insurance is limited to the amount of therapy it will cover and therefor we need to raise money so that Chloe can get the intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy needed.
The money raised here will pay for the next 6 months of intensive therapy for Chloe.
