Attorney fees & pest control

Hello my names courtney.

I am starting this fundraiser because we need help with an exterminator and a lawyer to fight the issue we have at hand! We bought a couch from Glenn At buddies home furnishings! We loved it at first sight. When they brought it to our home we were ecstatic had family over for dinner enjoyed the night with everyone. EVERYONE sat on this couch that we had just bought they admired it themselves. Great couch. But let’s get to the point. The first day we got it. We set it up in the living room where we wanted it. Sat on it enjoyed it. When we went upstairs I felt a bug crawling on me. Instantly I threw it off of me. I’m definitely not a bug person. Found it squished it and flushed it down the toilet. As the day went on family started to arrive. When my brother and sister in law got to our home they sat on my “new” couch. And my brother in law felt a bug crawling on him. He himself squished his and it left blood between his fingers. He didn’t think anything of it. Didn’t even mention it same for my sister. The day after or 2 days after I noticed these rash looking marks on my right shoulder still didn’t think anything of it. Thought maybe it was just from a change of laundry soap or hives. Or anything but bugs. But I began to notice everyone in my home having these bites everywhere on their bodies. So I asked my brother in law and my sister if they had any. Or if they seen any bugs. They said yeah I asked where they seen them at and they informed me they seen them in my living room while sitting on the “new” couch. I instantly went to the couch and checked it. And it was infested with bedbugs!! Yes I said it. BEDBUGS!!!!!! I’m inferriated about this. We have never had bug problems in our home the whole time we have lived there and now all of the sudden we get this couch and now we do! We reported it to the furniture company. Amd they are now trying to say it’s our fault. That they inspected that couch and there was nothing there upon and before delivery. And they aren’t going to do a damn thing about it. So I’m here asking for help. Funding of any amount you can offer if at all or even just a simple share to help get the word out that we need help we are currently staying in a motel because of this situation and the furniture company is not going to reimburse us the money for it because they “feel they are not at fault.” I can not take my children back home in that kind of living situation. So we’re trying to get money for an attorney. Money for an exterminator, And money to stay in the motel. For as long as it takes To get rid of these bugs and go home. We know we have a case and we’re 99.9% sure we’ll win! We just need help until we can get it taken care of. Thank you all in advance. We really appreciate you guys!!
