Atnre's #34for34challenge

I recently had the opportunity to host Mandela Washington Fellow Jok Abraham Thon for dinner before he returned to South Sudan. Jok shared how he has persisted through conflict in South Sudan that led to thousands of deaths in his village, how he started a high school in his twenties that now serves 800 students, and how he is essentially doing all of this with no funding (volunteer teachers, etc.). My wife and I were in awe and we were immediately looking for ways to support his heroic efforts. So here's our first step! With my 34th birthday coming soon (September 20th), I'm inviting my friends to join my #34for34challenge to support Promised Land Secondary School. I'm looking for 34 friends to make a donation of at least $34 between now and September 20th. Please help me reach our goal!
