Dog Rescuer Needs Help -Medical Bills

I only did what any animal lover would do, especially since the cops suggested that I do it. The dog's head was going under the water more and more, and it was clear to me that she wasn't going to make it if they didn't do something else to help her, other than swinging the noose at her from the sides of the canal. I guess no good deed goes unpunished, eh? I'd do it again though. On the up side,I saved a beautiful creature's life - the dog is ok, and I will survive too, though I will be permanently scarred. I started having tetanus symptoms and had to get treated for that, (no more spasms now, thank God). Unfortunately, it's cost us a lot, and cost me down work time, and they have said I probably should get plastic surgery on my chin. It was a deep and jagged bite there. I'm asking for help to cover this all. ANYthing helps, and I really appreciate your kindness and support - I don't like asking, but it's a bit overwhelming.
