Help me beat my rare cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rebecca, I am 27 years old and from England! I live in my little two up two down house with my wonderful boyfriend and doggie Henry! We had an active happy healthy lifestyle until September last year I started to get pain in my stomach, some days I could not stand up. I repeatedly was told not to worry by my doctors, I was too young for it to be anything serious. After weeks of being treated for irritable bowel my stomach started to swell! In a few short weeks I could not fastened up trousers, struggled to walk and was still told not to worry.
I was finally send for a scan which showed what they thought to be a huge fibroid, in for the operation to remove I went. After coming round from the op I was told we were in a different ball game and when the results came back I had a rare form of cancer (soft tissue sarcoma) which had stemmed from my ovary! My tumour was 8 lbs in weight and had been stuck to several vital organs!
Confusion on treating me became apparent and soon I was in and out of the hospital with more information than I could withstand. My treatment plan changed so frequent that I was left feeling hopeless!
A decision was then made to give me radiotherapy which I went ahead with, now I have finished that they still do not know what to do next!
Until I found the Oasis of hope hospital! Finally I am able to see some light! Unfortunately we are unable to raise the funds of $30,000 dollars to be admitted, plus flights there and back ourselves.
I see a ray of hope now please help me as much as you can, I will be forever grateful and thankful that you kind people gave me my chance!
Many thanks and kind thoughts sending to you all
