12.11.21 Tornado Murrell Rd Dickson, TN

Hello! My name is Brooke Primm. My husband and I live in Dickson TN. My husband lost his childhood home last night in the devastating tornado that ripped through middle TN. My mother in laws home was more than a home, it was a safe haven for the entire family. A place to gather. A place 11 of her grandchildren found solace. Peggy and Mike, or as we know them, “Gana and Gandaddy” find so much joy in always having their

grands at their home which they typically did daily. There isn’t a day of the week at least one of them isn’t over there. The early morning of 12/10/21, as me, my husband JP Primm and our kids rush to our first floor shelter we say a prayer. A prayer God covers our home in the following seconds, minutes, hours. The storm passes, we emerge to asses the damage. We are ok. Our home is ok. The phone rings, it’s Peggy sobbing uncontrollably, “It’s gone. We lost everything. Our house is gone!” Peggy and Mike the day before hopped a flight to Philadelphia. The two center stones of our family left town on an impromptu trip and for the first time in years…their home was empty. They lost everything in a matter of minutes, but they didn’t lose their life. We are forever grateful for this miracle. In the coming days , weeks, months we will rebuild. We will rally around them and we will get through this. After speaking with multiple news anchors, who report of these events often, we were told rebuilding after these events take years. They have family, and we will do what is needed during this time, however we come to you as a community for help. Anything you can give will help. Each meal they can buy is a blessing as they can no longer cook and enjoy their family meals. Every dollar to help, as they play the waiting game for insurance to provide relief. We thank you and we pray for the families who suffered loss of life during these horrific tornadoes last night. May God be with you all.
