Asual Aswad and Michele Lee - Creating Anew

On September 8, 2020, Asual Aswad and Michele Lee lost everything – as did their human and animal neighbors - in the devastating and unprecedented North Complex fire and fire tornado in Berry Creek near Oroville, CA. By “everything” we mean it all — 3 dogs, camera equipment, a life-time’s worth of art, art supplies, fabric from Africa, winter coats and sweaters, hiking boots, household items, and so much more — everything short of their lives, their friendships and family, memories, and their hopes to rebuild their lives.
With that in mind, we are starting a Go Fund Me Campaign for Asual Aswad and Michele Lee with the hopes of raising $25,000 by November 27 to replace Asual’s photography equipment and art supplies and Michele’s books and healing resources so they can begin again.
