Assistance for the Gomez-Moats Family

An amazing single mother here in Cheyenne is needing assistance with expenses related to her beautiful child's newly diagnosed illness. Thea (mom)'s descripton follows:


"She’s been sickly for about 2 months, but we assumed she had the flu or something as she tested negative for covid. Within the last week, she started to go downhill quick. After an MRI and visiting the ophthalmologist , they discovered hemorrhaging and blood behind her eyes and swollen optic nerves. This alerted her of a major concern of diabetes, high blood pressure, and the worst case scenario leukemia. They had us leave stat to Denver. Her blood was super unhealthy and they became concerned and were leaning toward leukemia. By morning we discovered that it was. We go in in a little bit for the marrow procedure to find out the type. She has lesions on her brain but her lungs are clear, and no known masses at this time."

Because of the demands and treatment for her daughter, Thea is not able to work at this time. 

Main monetary worries right now once the money runs out, are:
transportation to and from Denver, meals, personal necessities, gas and whatever unplanned expenses may arise.
