Assistance for Matt Sweet and Family

For those of you that don’t know last week Matt Sweet donated one of his kidneys to his wife.

Not long ago his family discovered that his wife’s kidneys were failing, hard and fast. They tested his mother in-law first for donor viability. She did not match.  Matt being the incredible man he is went next. He was tested, matched and the procedure was done immediately after all the medical vetting was done.  

Matt had a positive attitude and a smile on his face right till he left work.  I’ve kept touch w him on the phone and via text. It’s going to be a long tough recovery.  He’s ina lot of pain and I’d imagine his wife is having an even tougher time considering both of her kidneys were removed and replaced with a donor organ 

This is set up for the UPSers family but feel free to share it with family or friends who may identify or feel sympathetic to the situation.  Any money raised with go to helping the family with the financial burden or this extended leave.Anyone who knows Matt knows he’d appreciate $1 as much as $1000. Anything helps for a family with two children at home,including a infant. Bother parents out of commission for the time being
