Assistance for Eli - Stage 4 Kidney Disease

If you have had the pleasure of meeting my brother Eli, you know that he is a light, and a positive influence on those he comes in contact with. 


After living with type 1 diabetes for over 15 years, Eli was hit with a diagnosis of stage two kidney disease. In just two months, it has progressed to stage four. At age 24, he is now receiving in-home dialysis treatment while waiting for a kidney to become available and insurance approval to perform the replacement. My brother needs ongoing support during this time.


Generous, caring, and selfless, his goal was to become a nurse to give others the care we all deserve, and his condition brought his development to a halt. With your help, he can receive life-saving care, continue his journey, and do the same for others.


We all know our healthcare system is a nightmare. The trials of paying for life saving medication has now been exacerbated by testing and treatment costs due to the new diagnosis. Appointments for testing, procedures (ex: catheter placement and adjustments), follow-up, and emergency hospital visits have become the norm. With disability income being so low, its nearly impossible to live off of.
