Aspen’s Care Recovery and Medical Bills

Hi Everyone, please take a moment to donate or repost this to support our dear friend Aspen through this tragedy. Aspen was in a motorcycle collision the night of December 18th and thrown 20 feet in the air upon impact. 

He has currently undergone 4 surgeries with more to come and is fighting for his life in the ICU. Aspen is a father, a son, and holds a special place in the hearts of all who know him.

 

A very brief* summary of his injuries include:

 

Grade 3 liver laceration/injury

Grade 5 Splenic injury/rupture.

Removal of his spleen due to trauma

Damage to Pancreas

Damage to intestines and bowel which required surgery

Internal bleeding/hemorrhaging

Fractured humerus of his left arm

Fractured Scull

Fractured Spine

Broken tibia and fibula of his right leg

Acute respiratory failure due to trauma

Bilateral lung contusions due to trauma

Hemorrhagic shock due to trauma

 

He was riding alone when the accident occurred and was lucky to be alive when the first responders arrived.

 

If you know Aspen, then you know the magnetism he holds and the joy he brings into everyone’s life. He is the life of the party and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His goal has always been to make sure everyone is happy, laughing and smiling.

 

For those of you that don’t know him, he is the definition of impressionable. His life is filled with vibrance, color and adventure. He has a heart of gold. He matters. And he is beyond loved by the people in his life.

For those who don't know and the Go Fund Me team, Aspen is Jared Peveto's nickname. Jared Peveto is the individual whom this GoFundMe was created for, but he is more commonly known as Aspen to his friends, so we used that name to spread awareness. Jared, the victim of this accident is going to use the funds to help with his medical bills, extensive procedures, out-patient care, in-home nurses/doctors he'll need, medication and medical equipment. We have added Jared as the beneficiary and hopefully he'll have access to the money soon.
