Ashok's Funeral, Medical,Family Support&Child Edu

Dear Friends,

With immense grief and distress, we would like to inform you that our Friend, Ashokbhai Prajapati, Age 58 Yrs., a resident of Woodbridge, NJ, has passed away due to a heart attack and Multi-organ system failure. This most unfortunate incident has devastated the beautiful family's happiness and dreams. We all know Ashok as a loving husband, amazing father, and wonderful friend.

 

Ashok and Geeta shared a journey through 25+ years of marriage, including one talented boy, Soham(10), in 4th grade. Ashok was working with minimal wages, and he was the family's only breadwinner.

 

Soham just turned 10 on 13th Feb. He doesn't know that it will be his last celebration with his dad. On 14th Feb, Ashok had a vomiting sensation at 2 PM and started to feel stomach pain. As time passed, his pain became unbearable, and he finally had to be rushed to Emergency at 11:30 PM. He had 2 heart attacks after getting into the hospital and was stable for a while. Geeta was staying outside of the ICU and praying for his wellness. All of a sudden, all his organs (Kidney, Liver, brain and others) started failing one by one, and doctors were fighting to bring him back to a stable condition. On Feb 15th 11:30 AM, we heard the sad news that Ashok is no more. Everything had changed in just 12 hrs of time. Geeta has lost her loving husband, and Soham lost his loving father.

 

The family is understandably shocked by this loss and, unfortunately not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Ashok has been financially supporting the family all these years. Geeta is 50 years old and is now facing an uphill task of coping with Ashok’s loss, running the family and raising Soham from here without any income. We kindly request you donate funds for Geeta to cover Ashok’s Memorial service expenses, Funeral expenses, Hospital bills for his final treatments, run the family and support Soham’s education.

 

Anything you can do to help Geeta and Soham during this time of heartbreak is greatly appreciated.

Gita is still emotionally weak to handle her family. All of her friends are there to support her day to day activities. We are not able to add Gita's son has a beneficiary as he is a minor and Gita don't have a bank account at this time. Gita had requested Cindy(who is very close to Gita for all these years and her neighbour) to take care of her financial transactions for couple of weeks. We added Cindy to handle Gofund donations until Geetha gets stronger. She will transfer the money to Gita's son account. We will post the transactions once it's completed.
