We recently fell victims to domestic violence. Scott was arrested and we left the new house we had recently moved into with a laundry basket and a backpack. Scott, the man who proposed and promised us a future, drained the bank account, took all my credit cards, took all the keys, changed all the codes and is refusing to give me access to anything. We are staying with a friend who is gracious enough to allow us a bed to sleep. This is breaking my daughter. She wants her things, she wants her bed, she wants a home and sadly I cannot provide any of that right now. The song lyrics "I get by with a little help from my friends" holds true.
