Ashley and Kylie Medical Fund

On Tuesday, 08/22/2017, Ashley was admitted to Rancho Springs Medical Center with a 103 fever and severe chest and back pain. Diagnosis at the time was a kidney stone, mild pneumonia, and possibly sepsis. At 25 weeks pregnant, this was obviously a huge concern. On Friday, 08/25, Ashley coded with no heartbeat or breathing. After 4 minutes of CPR and no response, the doctors made the decision to deliver Kylie via C-section. She weighed 1 lb, 9 oz upon delivery. Kylie was air lifted to a children’s hospital that specializes in extremely premature births. The staff continued to work on Ashley for a total of 45 minutes, finally reviving her. There is no official diagnosis of what happened at this time, although there are indicators that she had a heart attack. Ashley has since been transported to another hospital as well. Miraculously, at this time she is responsive and able to communicate with us. However, both she and Kylie have a long fight ahead of them.
Ashley and Kylie have had amazing medical care and we have truly witnessed a miracle. However, this care will come at an extremely high cost, and she will likely not be able to work for a very long time. Our family will do what we can to help, but at this time, we are looking at months of care for both of them. Any donations will be tremendously appreciated.
Thank you,
