Hello friends,
We are reaching out to everyone we know with a desperate plea for help and support. Last Wednesday, we almost lost Ashlee Rogers in a tragic, near fatal car accident. The scene was horrific enough to warrant both the Jaws of Life and a Chaplain to pray over Ashlee's survival. She is critically injured after crashing into a bus, very nearly losing her life. Although she is considered medically stable, Ashlee is suffering from multiple painful injuries; including: fractures in every rib, a shattered knee cap, a shattered ankle, a broken clavicle, a lacerated liver, and even initial bleeding in her brain.
To everyone who knows Ashlee, it is clear she is a remarkable person who has overcome countless adversities in her life. Unfortunately, Ashlee's next of kin live out of state and are unable to help monetarily or aid in her aftercare. We are coming to you now in the hopes that Ashlee can experience the love and compassion she deserves.
Ashlee has a long, painful journey to recovery ahead of her. She will be needing therapy for an extended period of time, no less than 6 months. At this time, Ashlee is very limited and completely unable to work.
Ashlee has always been strong willed and reluctant to ask for help, so we are doing it for her. We are trying to raise $10,000 for the cost of medical bills, her recovery, and daily living expenses. Anything counts; please share to family and friends so that Ashlee can embark on an expedient and healthy recovery. We are extremely thankful for everyone's generosity, and will keep you posted with updates regarding Ashlee's recovery during this challenging time.
