Ashlee Jordan's Flood Relief Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday 8/26, Ashlee, her three year old daughter, Maggie and their dog, Eve had to be rescued by Harris County Sheriff Heroes from their home in Friendswood when rising water took them by surprise on their quiet cul de sac street. Ashlee returned to her home to find about a foot of water in her home and most of her belongings ruined. Ashlee was a first time homeowner in November 2016, when she bought her first new home. She wasn't aware for the need for flood insurance since it wasn't required. Keep in mind that a first time home buyer may not always completely understand the need for what isn't required at the time.
We would like to ask anyone that is willing to help us get Ashlee, Maggie and Eve back in their home to reach out and donate to this fund. Extensive Sheetrock work will be needed along with decontamination, new flooring and some new furniture. Ashlee will not be able to endure this burden on her own and we are hoping that you might find it in your heart to help.
Any size monetary donation is welcome. If you are unable to contribute, please pray. Prayers are always appreciated and prayer does work.
Maggie's toys and clothes were saved, so we are good there. Ashlee thinks her clothes are salvageable. We are busy washing and drying as I type this out.
Thank you for your time in reading our plight for help for Ashlee.
Please see updates for storm damage photos. Currently, estimated damage as reviewed by a FEMA certified contractor is about $45,000.00.
