Asha for Education: Tiyas Fundraiser
Asha for Education is a secular, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that catalyzes socio-economic change in India by promoting access to basic education. We believe that education is critical to uplifting underprivileged children throughout India. This fundraiser is for the Tiyas School, which serves kids in Preschool through 4th grade in an impoverished area of rural West Bengal. Most students at the school are children of local farmers and laborers, and education is essential to their future. The Tiyas School relies on Asha for Education to pay the teachers' salaries, allowing the school to retain teachers and keep its doors open. In the past, we have also funded study materials and computers. Your donations are critical to providing hope and opportunity to their students.
