On March 30, 2020, a year after Cyclone Idai, we were still struggling to get back on our feet, when the "State of Emergency 3 - COVID-19" arrived. Then on December 30, 2020 a mini cyclone made some more damages and it is foreseen that on January 23/24 Beira and Vilankulo will be hit by Cyclone Eloise. Though, this cyclone changes route every 6 hours..
Il 30 marzo 2020, un anno dopo il ciclone Idai, stavamo ancora lottando per rimetterci in piedi, quando è arrivato lo "Stato di Emergenza 3 - COVID-19". Poi il 30 dicembre 2020 un mini ciclone ha fatto altri danni e si prevede che il 23/24 gennaio Beira e Vilankulo saranno colpite dal ciclone Eloise. Anche se questo ciclone cambia rotta ogni 6 ore.

One of several challenges we face at ASEM is the fact that our young beneficiaries live in conditions of vulnerability and lack the necessary resources to deal with this pandemic, which is spreading and bringing death here as it is around the whole world.
Tra altro ci sono diverse situazioni legate ai nostri beneficiari che vivono in situazione di vulnerabilità e mancanza di condizioni per affrontare questa pandemia, che si sta diffondendo tra noi e sta causando morti come in tutto il mondo.
Our campaign focuses on these children: we urgently need resources to guarantee their safety in a stable and protected school environment, guaranteeing the conditions required for prevention and safety. To ensure the schoolchildren’s success we must guarantee: 1) hygiene in the classrooms; 2) sanitation of the school; 3) monitoring and psycho-social assistance 3) full compliance with the remaining Covid 19 prevention measures, and for many of them at least one meal a day.
La nostra campagna si concentra su questi bambini: abbiamo urgente bisogno di risorse per garantire la loro sicurezza in un ambiente scolastico stabile e protetto, garantendo le condizioni necessarie alla prevenzione e alla sicurezza. Per assicurare il successo degli scolari dobbiamo garantire: 1) l'igiene nelle aule; 2) la sanificazione della scuola; 3) il monitoraggio e l'assistenza psicosociale 3) il pieno rispetto delle restanti misure di prevenzione Covid 19, e per molti di loro almeno un pasto al giorno.
This fundraising campaign is created by Barbara Hofmann, founder of the ASEM, called "Associazione en faveur de l'Enfance Mozambicaine" (“The Association for the Children of Mozambique”), and is addressed to ASEM Italia Onlus (ASEM Italy), which will transfer 100% of the funds to ASEM in Mozambique to help our roughly 6,000 beneficiaries.
La campagna di raccolta fondi è creata da Barbara Hofmann fondatrice dell'associazione ASEM, denominata "Associazione en faveur de l'Enfance Mozambicaine", ed è indirizzata all’ASEM Italia Onlus, che trasferirà il 100% ad ASEM in Mozambico per aiutare circa 6.000 beneficiari di cui si prende cura l’associazione.

10 thermometers
8 x 300lt water containers
1 x 5000lt water tank
6 x disinfectant pumps
26 x buckets with taps
Soap
PPE including masks and other hygienic products
5,000 x Covid-19 brochures and
Hydraulic material
Food
Saranno impiegati per acquistare: 10 Termometri, 8 Contenitori per acqua da 300 litri, 1 Serbatoio acqua da 5000 litri, 6 Pompe per disinfettare, 26 Secchi con rubinetti, Sapone, Prodotti igienici, Maschere, 5000 brochure Covid-19 e Materiale idraulico e cibo.
