As Sweet As a Rose....

Rose is in grave danger... bleeding, but with no clue as to a cause!
When I saw Rose the first time, I had just walked into the shelter to see some other pit bull type dogs that needed our help. Rose had just been dropped off as a stray, and she was absolutely sweet as pie. But, she was lactating.... at 8 years old.... this poor girl had obviously been bred and bred and bred.
I told the shelter staff to alert me if her owners did not come for her... this girl was special. It was in her eyes. The soul of a true lover, and she deserved the same.
Rose went for her spay surgery, but something wasn't right, the vet went back in and sure enough, Rose was bleeding. The vet then took great care of her and sutured her back up, closing off all the previously bleeding areas.
Now, a week later, Rose suddenly started pouring out blood from her vulva. We called the vet and they advised us to immedietly get her to the 24 hour vet clinic.
Rose is now there, she needs surgery, blood transfusions, a multitude of tests.... and we are a tiny non-profit organization doing our best every day to help.
Rose's care has begun, but we need YOU to help US. Rose's estimate was over $4000.00 to help her.
