In full transperency, here is what is happening to the funds next.
The amount raised in this campaign is being transferred to Arun's parents (Mr. Jaganathan Ramakrishnan) in India. As they do not have a US based account, the money is being transferred to Arun's cousin Vijaykirthika Ramakrishnan Swamy, who will then transfer the money to Arun's parents.

We woke up this morning to shocking news that our dear friend Arun Ganesh passed away last night from a massive cardiac arrest. While we are deeply grieving the sudden loss of this very compassionate, and kind young man, we would like to raise funds to support his family.
Arun Ganesh (32) was from Udumalpet, Tamilnadu and completed his engineering from Amritha Institute of Technology in Coimbatore. He worked in Wipro & moved to Epsilon. He was based in Irving, Texas.
Arun was also deeply engaged in the community. He worked tirelessly as volunteer for Sankara Eye Foundation Dallas, demonstrating so much energy and enthusiasm always with a smile on his face. He was also actively involved in other charities to uplift the life of poor farmers in India. An exemplary community leader at such an young age.
He showed immense respect to elders insisting on referring to us as "Anna" (brother) and "Akka" (sister) and in doing so became the little brother for many of us - caring, loving and always ready to help.
We will all truly miss Arun and pray for his grieving parents and family.
