Mayfair Farm says...A Rug, A Rug - Our kingdom for a Rug....

Here at Mayfair, we need your help!

So, lets talk about rugs.....

For some horses they're a must in the winter. Particularly the ones we need to clip. Having just spent a little over £900 having (not all, just over half) our rugs cleaned and mended it's an expensive scenario, with 30 school horses and ponies. Sadly, a number of rugs didnt make it through the winter this year and were, unceremoniously, sent to rug heaven . Most of our Fly Sheets are on their 3rd, and likely last, year as well.

This places us in a difficult spot financially. The number of rugs that need replacing (using the brands that work to fit the specific horses shape etc) takes us to around £2000 eeekkk!

So we thought we would have a try at raising the funds via gofundme... it worked wonders for us over covid, to help pay for forage while we had no income stream . If you would like to donate to this fund at all then below is a list of the horses who need one or more of their rugs replacing. Please tell us which pony or horse your donation is for - I'll be updating the page with who has been donated to and if their rug has been covered.
