Friends and family we are in need of help....
My brother, Arthur “Dozer” Hubert, 35 went to Oklahoma to visit some our cousins and enjoy some time with family. While Artie was doing what he enjoys most, being outside and working with his hands alongside his family and friends, he was severely injured in an accident. A trailer slipped and fell on him, landing on his back.
Artie was med-flighted to the nearest hospital in Norman, OK. Here they quickly made the decision that he needed emergency surgery. He is currently in the hospital with extensive injuries and a very long road to recovery. We are currently unsure to the extent of his injuries and the damage that has been caused to his lower body, effecting the use of his legs. We do know that he has 3 fractures in his spine, a broken back and will need another surgery within 6 months. We are taking steps to learn how to work through the current situation, including how to cover costs for his multiple surgeries, physical therapy and providing transport back to Massachusetts. At this difficult time, Artie was between jobs and without health insurance.
If you could please find it in your heart to help Artie and our family during this tragic time we'll be forever grateful. Any dollar will help and will be used towards hospital bills and transportation.
