Art Works Basketball Mural 2018

Donation protected
As a kid my friends and I would head up town and play basketball at the park in Fort Branch. We'd turn the lights on when the sun went down and play on until someone's mom would call us home. This May, I will be coming back to paint a mural on that exact basketball court at the Fort Branch park. I want to give those in our community something to be proud of and find inspiration in.

The town has recently invested in the renovation of the park by repaving the basketball and tennis courts and it looks great. This project has been in the works for almost a year planning and organizing everything, and now we're ready to bring this mural to life!

Another aspect of the fundraising is to help us create, The Festival Art Wall. Inspired by a recent collaboration I did with Finishline and Adidas, the Art Wall is an interactive experience for kids and adults to get creative at this year’s Fort Branch Town Festival. Similar to the Adidas Art Wall pictured below, I will create a fun and playful design for others to come fill in. The 16-foot wall will be placed beside the painted basketball court during the three days of the Town Festival.

We're asking for donations from local businesses and individuals in the community to help me fund this project. We will need approximately  $2600 to pay for paint supplies, brushes, treatments, and travel.  All money received over budget will go back to the Fort Branch Community Pride Board to fund future projects in our town. We've created a "Super Sponsor" donation of $250, which will get your name or business placed on a plaque beside the court upon the completion of the mural. Donations of any shape and size are very much appreciated!

Our goal is to get this project completed before the Fort Branch Town Fest, which takes place on the last weekend of May making our deadline for raising the funds May 1. That's about 2 months away!

I want to personally thank anyone who donates for helping me bring something unique and colorful to our hometown. Your contribution to the town, park, and community are very much appreciated!

If you're unfamiliar with what I do, here is a short video of a project I completed for Holy Cross's playground last summer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Bjzc9xQ1DQ&t=147s
