Art & Cooking Supplies for Kids in CASA
Tax deductible
Calvary KUMC is raising money to help CASA of Middlesex County provide the children in their system with the supplies they need to explore new, healthy hobbies. Most of the children are living in foster homes or other out of home placements, so divulging in these healthy hobbies can be a great positive influence and form of escape from their chaotic lives. CASA of Middlesex County would use this money to buy supplies for these children because most of the children are unable to buy their own supplies, or their parents are not able to afford them.
If our goal is met, we will be able to provide 50 children ($10 per child) with the supplies they need to pursue their hobbies.
More information about CASA of Middlesex County: CASA (Court Appointed Special Activists) of Middlesex County is a nonprofit organization that trains volunteers to advocate for and help children who have been removed from their biological families due to abuse or neglect. These advocates act as the "eyes and ears" of the family court system, helping the judges make the best decision for these children.
