Hi to the big world and everyone who reads my letter.
My name is Arnold, I am 4 years old, I live in Virginia Beach and I need your help and support. A few days ago, my mother and I were left alone. On the sunny day of September 15th, 2019, my dad decided to go freediving on Lake Phoenix in Virginia, which he was so passionate about, and where he was practicing in swimming and freediving. He often went there, and considered himself a professional in this matter. That day, he bought a GoPro camera for recording under the water, thinking that he could show me the video when I grow up to be proud of him, and that day he tragically drowned. We don’t have relatives in America. My dad was born in Belarus, where his parents live now, and because of their health condition and age, it makes it impossible for them to come to America to support me and my mom right now.
My mother does not know how to stay strong for me, how to find a job to support me, how to start living from a new page of our family’s book. If you have the opportunity to help me and my mom with anything you could, we will be grateful for any help. Thank you for being kind to us!
