Arlo’s Battle

Our three year old chocolate lab was admitted to an emergency vet clinic yesterday fighting low blood cell and platelet count. The vets believe he’s either developed an autoimmune disease called IMHA (his immune system is attacking his red blood cells, causing him to lack oxygen in his body) or has a stomach ulcer that has caused him to become anemic. While neither options are “good options”, we are hoping for the ulcer. At this point, we’re looking at least another overnight stay and unfortunately, it’s outside of our financial realm. We are asking for any donations, big or small, to help us take care of our sweet, loving, smart, happy boy.
