The Arizona Western Film Movieseum is destined to be America's newest Family attraction and museum.
To be located at the Traildust Town Entertainment Complex on Tucson Arizona's fashionable Eastside, the Movieseum salutes the hundreds of Western Movies and TV shows filmed in Tucson and Southern Arizona.
It will focus especially on westerns filmed at the closed Old Tucson Studios, founded by Bob Shelton. In addition to memorabilia and artifacts from Old Tucson, much of Shelton's personal collection will be on display as well. Over 300 iconic films were made at Old Tucson including such hits as Rio Bravo, Tombstone, Three Amigos, and McClintock. TV shows included Gunsmoke and Little House on the Prairie and High Chapparal.
The Movieseum will have something for all ages from photos and film clips to interactive "green screen" and "virtual reality" exhibits. There will be an opportunity to place yourself into the movies you love or buy a great souvenir of the Old West.
Taking over an existing museum building at Traildust, we have been able to reduce our costs tremendously.
Still we need to raise a lot of money for remodeling and exhibits. This particular campaign is to get us a bathroom for visitors and volunteers.
This converted hay store had a bathroom at one time, but was taken out over 40 years ago! So we need to put one in that is handicap accessible.
While our costs will be higher than this amount, this will help tremendously.
But this Movieseum is for everyone so we created a fundraiser that has a level everyone can support.

$1000- Directors Chair with your name on it, to remain and be used at the Movieseum for lectures and talks, and space available to attend one event in your chair!

$5000- be an "Extra" or "Background" in a future movie or TV production, subject to availability. Receive the above items as well.

$10,000- Exhibit Display named in your honor with brass plaque next to it. As well as Directors Chair in your name and Family Membership.

$250,000- Building Naming Rights.
The building housing the Movieseum can be named after you or your family or someone special.
Design, typestyles, colors, and logos all subject to approval and must conform to the style and standards of Traildust Town.

Over 60 years old, Traildust has restaurants, including the world famous Pinbacle Peak, rides, gunfights, shops, and events year-round!
