Gaby Argimon: Conducting Workshops

Hello!
Thank you for visiting my Go Fund Me. My name is Gabrielle Argimon and I am a 21-year-old student in music education and conducting studies, based in Miami, FL. My campaign's mission is to raise enough money for me to start my career as a female conductor in the classical, orchestral music arena. I am incredibly passionate about youth music education and reinvigorating a love and celebration of the performing arts in schools and beyond. I am also a huge advocate for women's rights and encouraging women to take upon the responsibilities of culturally-established and exclusively male positions such as instrumental conducting.
Currently, I'm enrolled in my third year at the University of Miami with a GPA of 3.99. Attending summer workshops will allow me to network with leaders in music from all over the world and share my vision and mission, while also providing me the necessary traction to begin my graduate school studies after I receive my bachelors in the next year.
The money raised from this campaign will specifically pay for:
-workshop tuitions
-airfare (within the US and beyond)
-food/accommodations
-housing if not provided (hotel, etc.)
-transportation @ workshop (Uber, rental car, etc.)
I maintain a piano and vocal studio of students in South Florida that I teach regularly, and I also tutor elementary and SAT mathematics. However, these workshops, as necessary and incredible of experiences they are, become cumulatively very expensive, and the money I make from private teaching simply does not suffice!
As the summer approaches, I will be more specific about the workshops I will attend and the monetary demands. As for now, I would appreciate--from the bottom of my heart--any small or large token of monetary donations you can provide, as the money collected in this campaign will assuredly support multiple facets of my blossoming career as a female music conductor!
