Arena Design: Harvey Relief

Sharing photos from the devastation that we have experienced at our studio on 4519 Saunders Road. Rusty has built this buisiness from the bottom up back in 1986. We are located near Halls Bayou and when Harvey hit, we got hit SO hard. 50 inches of water came through our 20,000 sq foot space and has devastated 85% of our inventory, irreplaceble artwork, pigments, binding concentrates by barrel, our custom made printmaking tables, HP latex printers, computers, our curing , samples, our entire kitchen and bathroom area. The studio is basically totaled. We are not sure how much insurance will cover and when we will recieve the money. We have ordered to fullfill, massive commitments on an international level that we need fulfill. We have had one client cancel today and that money has to be refunded as well. We are reaching out to our family and friends so we can move as quiclkly as possible to get back to work. The space is covered in mold and we need to invest in the proper equipment to revcover: large dumpster, air ventilation machienery, etc. (I will be keeping everyone posted on how we spend the money) We are devoted artists and have been completely heartbroken by this tragedy. We are so grateful to have our homes untouched and beds to sleep in that are giving us energy to get back into the studio and work our booties off but as it goes in this world, money is needed to move forward. From the bottom of our hearts we appreciate anything you can contribute so we can continue making timeless fabrics, textiles, and artwork that give life to our client's homes across this great country.
