Help get Archibald to Julliard!

Hello family, friends and everyone who can make a difference in my future. My name is Christopher Cummins. I’m currently 18 years old and I’m a senior at Valdez High School.
My dream is to pursue music performance with my tuba: Archibald. During the past few months I’ve been busy applying to colleges across the United States, one of them being Julliard!

I GOT AN AUDITION!
I will depart my small hometown of Valdez, AK to audition in New York City on February 25th. The acceptance rate of this institution is only 6.7 % of applicants, so I definitely have my work cut out for me.
Let me tell you a little bit more about me, my love for music began when I was born. My Mother said it was one of the only things that soothed me as an infant. I was 10 years old when I began my formal education as a pianist. For the last two years my concentration has been on playing my tuba (Archibald), and I am also able to play the flute and saxophone. I am grateful that music has allowed me to reap great achievements, having an audition to Julliard is one of the greatest thus far!
Thank you in advance for your commitment to youth and for believing in a young person like me who strives daily to be a better musician and human being. My biggest challenge will be to represent Valdez and Alaska with honor and dignity through my music and throughout the most prestigious stages and recital halls in the world. I am grateful for any donation amount or kind words of inspiration.

*Travel Expenses - Travel for Archibald and I to fly to New York City for my audition on February 27th, 2017!
*Music/Equipment - Hard case for my tuba (Archibald) for travel in the future.
