In December 2019, the Bermingham family (Claire, Matt, Lara and Archer) went to Lismore Base Hospital after Archer had a fever that wasn't going away. Following tests and being rushed to Brisbane, 3 year old Archer Bermingham was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in December 2019. Since then, the Bermingham family have not been home to Lennox Head at all.
Archer has a good prognosis, but has been fighting for his life, with countless chemo treatments, horrible medical procedures and cases of roid rage!
The family have relocated to Brisbane for at least the next few months and are currently living on carer's allowances while Claire and Matt look after Archer and Lara.
Let's all chip in to get Archie back to the ocean for some love and happiness!Any money raised will go to setting the family up when they return home and hopefully some fun adventures fit for a superhero!
Due to Archer's immune system being super low, there's not a lot that everyone can do, particularly during coronavirus time, so giving money is a small way you can help and help secure some fun for Archer's future.
This will be a long term fundraiser until Archer is off-treatment in approx 2 years.
Any little bit helps and the Bermos will love you (even though they will never ask for anything!)
