Medical Costs, Anna Lay

Hello all,
Many of you know that my sister, Anna, was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome almost 20 years ago. This is an inherited connective tissue disorder that wreaks havoc on the body, and Anna has had upwards of 90 various surgeries through the years in an attempt to keep her mobile and reduce some of the tremendous pain she lives with on a daily basis. Anna has never faltered: she pushed through graduate school, has a career she loves and thrives in, is a nurturing mother to her amazing daughter, Grace, but always with a cast on an ankle, a wrist, a walker, a wheelchair. The disease is progressing and the financial burden of missed work and necessary medical items for her to continue to live her life are taking a tremendous toll. Anna is one tough chick, but it would be incredible if we could help offset some of these financial burdens and support her and Grace.
