Aquatic Gardens Programming!

The Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens are a hidden gem here in the nation's capital, rarely visited or known by D.C. residents.  

The Friends of the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens brings the marshes and lily ponds to life for our neighbors through year-round volunteer opportunities, educational programs, and cultural events.

Before joining the Friends' NatureFest programs, fewer than 50% of neighborhood kids had even set foot in the Gardens.  Now they come for spring and summer break camps, connecting with and stewarding this remarkable resource in their backyards.

Your gift will make help our youngest neighbors become passionate stewards of this resource through:

- Spring Break NatureFest camp
- Summer NatureFest camp
- Weekly NatureFest afterschool programming
- Cultural events like the Lotus and Water Lily Festival, Jazz Nights, and family fun days.

Your gift will allow us to continue this year-round programming throughout 2018, and we hope you'll join us at the Gardens for some of the fun!
