WHO
Hi! I'm Lori Precious and I am raising money to make and distribute 350 Aqua Packs
in Ethiopia to women and girls.
WHAT
Aqua Packs are backpacks specially made for women and girls in Ethiopia to carry
HEAVY containers of water in a way that helps them to walk with ease and comfort,
alleviating the stress that can cause deformity and disability.
WHY
They carry 40-50 pound water containers strapped to their backs with rope that cuts
into their shoulders. OUCH! Can you imagine? As you can imagine, carrying weight
this way can create skeletal and internal problems. Aqua Packs help to alleviate some
of that stress from their bodies by distributing the weight more equally.
WHAT ELSE
Aqua Packs were designed and manufactured by Amor Leather, a BADASS all-female
company in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Aqua Packs are great quality, made of heavy duty
canvas and will last for many years of use.
I already distributed nearly 100 Aqua Packs FREE to women and girls in Ethiopia.
The women and girls were very excited and used them immediately. They were so
grateful (especially the pregnant woman :)
WHEN
With the money I raise through this campaign, I'll distribute more Aqua Packs
FREE
to women and girls in Ethiopia. Distribution will happen approximately Feb or March 2020.
