Help me get my Pup the surgery he needs

My name is Beka Claire and I am the proud owner of my sweet Boy, Mio.

On March 1st, my puppy woke me up struggling to breath and it was a terrifying experience. I immediately got him to the local Vet to have test, blood work and an x-ray. There were no answers but he was given antibiotics and steroids. The weekend passed and he was getting worse so the Vet called him in a stronger antibiotic but unfortunately that didn’t help. I took him for another visit and another X-ray was done. There were still no answers for his illness. I was referred to a specialist which I visited on March 14th and thats when I received the news that my sweet boy has something in his nose/sinuses. I was devastated, scared and extremely upset to hear this news! The Specialist explained to me that the only way to find the issue is by putting him to sleep and scoping his nose to explore the situation and hopefully remove what’s making him so sick.

That news was so difficult to hear but the hardest part was learning that the procedure would be very expensive.

After sharing with the Specialist that I didn’t have $2,800, he proceeded to ask me what I wanted to do about the WIRE IN HIS STOMACH! I was so confused because I had no knowledge of anything in his stomach and I was certain he was confusing me with another patient!

Well…. I was wrong! My Vet found this at his second visit but didn’t mention it to me. Instead, they just refereed me to a Specialist.

As of today, I am almost $1,000 in and my Best Friend Mio is still very sick and struggling to breath.

The Specialist informed me that it will cost $3,400 to scope his nose and another scope into his stomach to retrieve the wire that could potentially kill my poor puppy.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I am a very protective Pet Mommy and I assure you I didn’t do anything to neglect my pet for these things to happen. I love him in an unexplainable way and I want more than anything to help him get better and continue living many more years with me.

I am not one to ask for a handout! I have successfully created numerous fundraiser in my life to help others, from Hurricane victims, Teen Moms and many other causes but I have never asked for help for myself.

This is a humbling situation and it’s not easy to do, but I am desperate to help my little Pup! He deserves the surgery he needs and it pains me that I can’t afford it at this time without asking for help and/or going into credit card debt.

My Dear Friend assured me that if I ask for the help I need at this time, those who love me and those who I have helped in the past will come forward and help me.

I hope to get this surgery asap so I can get my sweet boy back to good health and get back to work, helping others and creating beautiful things that make people smile!

I will KEEP GOING, KEEP TRYING AND KEEP FIGHTING for my Sweet Boy, myself, my goals and my future!

I just need a little help to get through this difficult time!
